The Unique Approach
Based on Neuroscience Research
Educators have long encouraged socialisation and the use of manipulatives in Math and Science. Research shows that socialisation and the use of manipulatives facilitate the development of an individual’s motor skills. This in turn, provides the necessary framework for the brain to comprehend academic concepts.
How does this work?
Because the brain, body movement and learning systems are interdependent, fun body movements boosts blood flow to the brain, improves alertness and ultimately optimises a child’s learning.
Not to mention, the exercising of gross and fine motor skills balances the usage of a child’s left and right brain which in turn, facilitates their ability to recognise characters on a page.
